Creamy cottage cheese mousse: a high-protein, low-sugar treat made with banana, cocoa, and honey. Quick, healthy, and indulgent!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (225 g) cottage cheese
  • 1 large ripe banana
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp honey (or chicory syrup for lower sugar)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients into a blender or food processor. Blend until smooth and creamy. Stop and scrape down the sides if needed.
  2. Taste and adjust sweetness if desired (add a drizzle of honey or a pinch of cocoa).
  3. Spoon into serving bowls or jars. Enjoy immediately, or refrigerate for 30 minutes for a chilled mousse texture.

Notes

  • Use ripe banana for natural sweetness or add extra sweetener if needed.
  • Blend thoroughly to remove any cottage cheese texture for a silky mousse.
  • Each serving is about ⅔ cup (150–175 g).
  • Chill the mousse for at least 30 minutes for the best texture.
  • Add fresh fruit, granola, or a drizzle of honey for extra flavor.
