This Honey Mustard Salmon recipe is quick, healthy, and full of flavor! Sweet, tangy glaze pairs perfectly with tender, flaky salmon.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 ounces each)
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves (or 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh dill for garnish (optional)
  • Lemon wedges for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • Preheat the Air Fryer: Preheat your air fryer (or your oven)  to 375°F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Prepare the Honey Mustard Glaze: In a small bowl, whisk together Dijon mustard, honey, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic, thyme, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  • Glaze the Salmon: Brush the honey mustard glaze generously over the top of each salmon fillet.
  • Cook the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the air fryer basket (or on the baking sheet lined with parchment paper), making sure they are not touching. Air fry at 375°F for 8-10 minutes, until the salmon is opaque and flakes easily with a fork. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).
  • Optional Step for Crispier Top: For a slightly crispier top, increase the temperature to 400°F (200°C) for the last 1-2 minutes of cooking.
  • Garnish and Serve: Remove the salmon from the air fryer, let it rest for a minute, then garnish with fresh dill and serve with lemon wedges.
